D16 fuel rail and injectors question
So if you have a d16z6 usdm intake manifold going into a 89 si civic hb, and it already has a mpfi d16a6 swap. But your doing a complete swap can you use the obd 0 injectors and fuel rail from the a6 into the z6? and still be able to get ref'd? and also would a a6 crank pulley work on a z6? and would a d16a6 exhaust manifold fit a z6?
Use the a6 injectors in the z6 mani, and don't mess with the wiring for the injectors.
If you use the z6 injectors, the clips are different and you have to deal with removing your resistor box.
It is FAR easier to just use the a6 injectors. I don't believe you even need to mess with your fuel rail at all. The z6 fuel rail will work with the a6 injectors.
The ref side of things, I am not terribly clear on. I think the main idea is that all the stock components must be used on the manifold, which may mean some wiring extensions.
