Default Hollywood*'s CBP GE8 ~THE DAILY~

Thought I start a build thread for my DD. I purchased a 2010 Honda Fit Sport last October. I planned on keeping it stock because it was just going to be my DD but after a few months I couldnt resist anymore and caved in lol. This is somewhat of a budget build, I'm also building my 97 ebp integra (slacking on the updates).

Plans:
jdp cf front lip
jdp cf rear diffuser
t1r intake
few spoon goodies

When I got it home from the dealership.

First set of rims 17x7. The rear needed to have spacers, but I planned on buying a new setup anyways.

Dropped it on some eibach sportline springs, swapped my roof rack from my integra to the fit

NEW RIMS bought a set Rota Grids Off-road 16x8

HONDA DAY My friends and I went up to Atco NJ for Honda Day. So many clean cars where there. We did a video while up there of our trip up and while there for the meet. I took second place for the honda fit class and my cousin took first place in the acura tsx class. Great experience and cant wait till august for Honda Day in Etown.

Been looking for a camera for awhile, finally broke down and bought a sony nex5. So did a little photoshoot lastnight.

No big updates! I've been working a lot and putting time into my integra, so I haven't had time to put the d2 coilovers or the jdp carbon fiber lip on. This weekend ill be heading to the beach for a car show, Ill have plenty of pictures. Went to a little local meet this past week and took some interior pics while I was bored.

Havent really dont much with the car lately. Been putting all my time in my other project so I neglect this one somewhat. Still waiting to put the D2 coilover and jdp cf front lip on. Trying to get the fenders rolled before I lower it anymore. Decided that I'm going to go with mugen parts instead of spoon parts also.

Took some pictures while down at Chesapeake Beach

Random picture of the Fit at my house.

Thanks man, no I didnt put in any nuts. I just tapped the original hole and screwed it on. My friends like to unthread it from my shifter so it feels like it will slip off but I tried pulling it off but it willnt move any. Im content with it

Im not sure the exact thread size, I would have to check tomorrow the tap set that I used. Yes jazz/fit are the same size as any other honda. My old shift **** I used for awhile in my fit was from my integra.

new member here, but not new to the forum world at all. i just had to sign up to ht as soon as i saw your ge8. i was just wondering, with the current set up (the 16x8 grids), what's the offset? what are the tires that you're running (i notice a bit of stretch).

i assume that you bought them as a 4x100, not having them redrilled, right? you're dropped on sportlines... and that's it? no other modifications? sorry for the mind dump.

cliffs: i want to know your suspension/wheel set up that you had with the 16x8 grids.

Im dropped on eibach sportlines for now. I recently bought D2 coilovers and I have front camber bolts for when I go to slam my car. The grids are 16x8 offset +10 4x100 with flaken ziex 512 195/45/16. It has alittle strecth to them but nothing crazy. I had to modify the front rims so they wouldnt rub against the caliper. Beside that no other modifications have been done. I do rub the fenders when I hit bumps in the road, but I'm rolling my fenders here soon to stop that problem.

I havent had much time to keep any of my build threads updated. I just got back into town lastnight from my month TDY to Mcghee Tyson AFB in Tennessee . I took a few shots on my way down and while I was there. So enjoy!

Well while I was in Tennessee, Ive noticed that there was a spot in the back hatch area that was wet. I happened to look up and saw that the headliner was stained. Come to find out that the antenna seal gave way and allowed rain water to get into my car. I called Honda and told them the problem and scheduled an appointment today. I showed up for my appointment and was chilling in there customer service area. Got bored and decided to get some prices for some more parts Im interested in. Finished ordering some parts and one of the service guys walked up to me telling me they have to order the parts and it will take a day to replace everything I'm happy that they will be replacing everything but sucks that i have to go without my FIT lol.

Been doing a lot since I've gotten home. Trying to finish my teg project so I can pull it out of my garage and start on my del sol. Also just started a website "thelowlfye.com" still working on that and hopefully have it going end of January.

Had some free time so a good friend of mine and I shot a quick video of my car downtown martinsburg.
