Anyone ever see anything like this? Suspension install..

96 Honda Accord LX that I am installing Koni Str't's on. I have attached 3 pictures to show you what I am referencing. I watched how everything was assembled and it looked fine and in order.
These are front stock springs installed on the new koni front shocks. The top hat seems to be sideways now that the springs are installed.
It seems that if I put pressure on it, the spring will straighten back out, pulling it away from the shock body. I'm concerned that the top hat being sideways will eventually cause some issues. Once the car is on the ground, my thinking is the spring will straighen out and all will be fine, your thoughts? As a reference point - the rears were fine and didn't do this.
You guys ever seen this before?
These are OEM Springs, they aren't installed upside down. We went stock to stock..meaning, off the stock parts, onto these new struts.
By the cups, do you mean at the top? As far as I can tell, they are seated in there correctly.

I know my Yellows had silver cups for the springs.Looks like your springs though are in there correctly. What kinda of spring compressor did you use?
