Default 95 civic ex engine pull

Hi All I have a 1995 honda civic ex manual cpe.
My issue is that when I put on 1st gears it goes in
normally withouth any problems. As soon as I start leting
the cluth go, I feel like a nasty engine pull...like when
you have a bad engine mount. I tried this Repeatedly and it
did the same every time. Only when im letting the
cluth go.

I checked the engine mounts and all seem ok, and I think if it was a engine mount, it will vibrate when going at high speeds? What bearing could be going out?

the motor mount would move if you just turned the car on and revved the motor. could be either the throw out bearing or the main bearing for that tranny

is that very difficult to change? or will it be better to take it to a shop instead of a DIY?

Probably out of your range if you have to ask what it is and if you should take it to a shop. If you have to ask, do yourself take it somewhere and have it done right.

If it is a mount, it might look "ok" but can be torn underneath. Put the parking brake up, and slowly release the clutch in 1st and see if you can feel alot of movement back and forth. If not, then your mounts are probably ok. You can try the same for reverse too.

I wouldn't put my money on a bad throw out bearing, unless it's making a **** ton of a rattling/scratchy noise coming from the trans when the clutch it released.

Maybe you only notice it in 1st bc the mount is bad, and you're making the car move from a start. You don't notice it in other gears b/c the car is moving smoothly and there's no sudden changes in speed
