Default Help...CEL code 6, 7, 10, 41 fresh y8 swap in EG

I put my Y8 I have into my EG. It runs and drives fine when warm, but runs like absolute garbage when cold....

I jumped the ecu to find the CEL code, and I got what I believe is code 10, and code 6. code 6 is the coolant temp sensor. and I think code 10 is the intake air temp sensor....Is it possible I just have these two criss-crossed, and need to switch them around, and if SO which plugs on a 93 EG VX harness do I need to try swapping around to figure this out?

I tried a few combinations but to no avail, so I put it back how I originally had it and gave up and drove home with it running all crappy....I'll probably be lucky to get it started in the AM to get to work and it will need to warm up a lot :*(

Oh, and I heard that someone doing this swap had to extend the wires for the IATS and plug it into the intake pipe... would this solve code 10?...

HELP PLEASE!

Now I've got all of the sensors wired up, and I'm not throwing code 7, or code 10 anymore. I am only throwing code 41 now >.> Which I believe is the injectors....I think I need to go over my injector connections possibly.....but it runs okay, just runs a little rough at the lower rpms sometimes.......

Any ideas? I should double check and then heatshrink all of my injector connections, I don't know if I have access to a multi meter or not, but that would probably help me figure this out a lot faster I would assume..........

Code 41 is for the heater element component of the O2 sensor. Check the wires and measure the resistance of the heater element.

So, My O2 sensor is probably good, and just tossing in a 4 wire and converting it over wouldn't just do the trick?

Oh, Money isn't really too big of a deal at this point, I just wont to get it running clean and not throwing a code.....

lol.....

This is how I feel right now

edit: OMFG I'm so goddamn retarded...I think.....

I saw that there are two plugs that the o2 sensor can go in, perhaps I had it in the wrong plug >.<

I gtg reset my ecu and see if it made any difference, but I doubt it will, 'cause this is a pain in the *** at this point.....lol!

Okay, so I went and reset the ecu, and still the same.

It has the CEL on when I turn it to Acc. it goes off until I fire it up, and then is comes back on after a sec or two...

I'm fairly certain that my o2 sensor itself is bad, it came from an engine with like 260k....lol!

You are probably right about the heater element malfunctioning....I'm not positive what the heater element is though, I checked all the wiring, and everything seems okay, are you sure the o2 sensor itself hasn't gone bad from 500-1k miles of shitty running and with CEL codes driving back and forth to work and whatnot?.........lol

WHOO HOO!

I wired up a four wire 02 I just bought it brand new -_-

but no more codes, just had to advance the timing a little and we're in business!

Thanks for all your help guys!

Time to go tear it up and see if we throw any codes.....hahahhaa
