Is there any way you can get pictures of the car minus the hubcaps and fake chrome? That would help your chances considerably.

with only 44k on the engine, you and I should get together and sell your Civic and my CRX as a package deal. swap over the engine, get a new tranny, and be race ready in ITA for $5K total! Then throw a junk yard engine in the Civic and have a daily driver as well...

It just so happens that I have the pedal clusters and clutch master cylinder you will need.

All that is left is a slave cylinder, shift linkage and a tranny/clutch (the easy stuff to get). My guess is they are dirt cheap for those since no one wants that drivetrain.

 

Wouldn't need a new center console or ECU?

 

Just hack up the console. I have a POS . . . I mean P05 ECU also.

I can probably even find you the tranny and shift linkage for cheap.

 

I'll give you $1.51 and a book of stamps for it...
