Default super stiff clutch ???

broke my clutch pedal recently in my ef hatch, swapped to a b18a cable trans. The transmission is a stock ls, but for some reason, my clutch is super stiff. Does lubing up the clutch pedal help? and how do i lube the clutch cable? i dont understand how to get wd40 in there..?
I need some help, its really stiff and i know its friction and binding related.
thanks

Ensure the clutch cable is routed and attached properly.

Disconnect the cable and pull it to determine if the cable has degraded internally. check the clutch pedal and pivot pin for binding and wear, grease as needed.

Anything else will require separation of the bellhousing.
