I'm getting ready to clean and lube my windows/sunroof today because they're going a bit slow. I've been searching for a day or so on this and i've found out that i need to use silicone lube on the rubber window guides, but what should i use on the window/sunroof tracks?
I read in one thread that i shouldn't use the silicone on these because it will make it worse.

 

I used this. Work just fine.

 

seems like any gear/track lube would work fine

 

i used spray oil.. actually what i used was HHS-K. i know it isnt meant for this but it worked great. i also sprayed the rubber with Rubber and Vinyl care. works great now

 

I found some spray silicone grease at a local auto parts store that has worked pretty well.

I got some white lithuim grease from advanced and its working great so far. no more shudder when it opens/closes
