competition bar or just front crossmember??
heres a quick overview of my car guys: 1991 civic hatchback, gsr swap, turbo soon, and gonna do all new suspension. idk if i should just get the front crossmember or the competions bars that you can purchase separately. i dont plan on using this as a track car anytime soon, mostly just street racing and hwy racing (pretty much the same thing lol) what do you guys thing i should get? does the competition bar in any way affect steering? i wanna be able to make sharp turns still incase i decide to do circut runs for fun with my buddies! some help would be greatly appreciated guys! thanks for reading! KEEP IT EF, KEEP IT OLDSCHOOL

@lazy14, the reason im changing the crossmember is that it will help with space and i think it looks soo damn ugly haha im lowered on koni yellows with ground control sleeves and getting the skunk2 front and rear camber kit tonight! what brand is your camber kit?
I'm sure this guy sincerly apologizes for not being graced will all of the automotive knowledge that clearly you were giving at birth. If you dont agree with what hes doing to his car or why he wants to do it either say something about it to let him know why it isnt a good idea or just simply stay off it.
To the OP.....I honestly would advise you to not get either of these. From what it sounds like, clearly this is you DD. Neither of these products will help you "turn quicker" or "turn sharper" What they're overall purpose and design is made to achieve is eliminating wheel hop for drag race and launch situations. It will give a rigid structure so that your lower control arm cannot deflect backwards or forwards.
Heres why I dont recommed it to you: This will make your ride MUCH harsher and you will seriously feel every bump and so will the rest of your car/ mounts/ and body. Also all of this harshness will further destroy what i'm assuming will be your already worn out 20+ year old suspension.

I believe that comment was in response to the "just street racing" thing. Don't forget street racing is always cool.
