PA 91 CRX FOR SALE W/ D16A VTEC, make me an offer!
Well its's finally time to sell my very loyal CRX. This car has many great things about it, and a couple bad things. So, to make things easier I've organized this post into a good section and a bad section. I am open to ALL offers, I live in Newtown PA. Please resist the urge to PM me. Shoot me an email: coltmorris@gmail or call/text 2672302283. Thanks--Colt
The good: Motor is a D16A vtec from a jdm 94 civic ex (I have the receipt) it has around 150k miles and runs fantastic, such an awesomely reliable motor. Ecu is a chipped PM6, new dizzy, newish radiator, new battery, plugs, wires etc. I made sure to maintain this engine well. Also had a newly rebuilt Si trans with a new clutch (40k miles ago) new flywheel and short throw shifter professionally installed. As you can see it has an HKS sport exhaust. Suspension is Tokico Illuminas on HR race springs (about 30k miles on the suspension) I bought some german crx seats and attached them to the original seat frames, fit perfect and are much more durable than usdm seats. I re-finished the plastic molding, and on one side fits great the other side, not so much. But I have all the missing trim. Rota J-mag wheels and a clean title.
The bad: Now here are the issues: First off, car needs wheel bearings. Fairly loud front-end noise from both wheels, however there is no play in the wheels at all--but I'm fairly certain the bearings are bad. Also, the car's castor is about an inch off on the drivers side. Nothing in the subframe or suspension is bent however, I checked everything. This has been bugging me. As you can also see, drivers side fender is messed up. This has NOTHING to do with the castor issue, not like I got hit on that side or anything. That dent is from me getting frustrated and kicking my fender (idiot I know). The hatch hydro-rams are shot so it won't stay up. Classic climate control issues, its cracked and the fan speed works but is stuck on heat/defrost. And finally, this car USED to be totally rust-free but now a small bit is starting on the pass quarter panel ugh (this was a florida car before I bought it)
This car has a long history so any questions you might have, I will do my best to answer. I do have many parts (front bumper) and service manuals, which I will give to whomever buys this rex. Again, I am open to ALL offers! Now pics: (I have more upon request)
