Default suspension tire rub question with 15 +40 195/50/15

well ive done alot of searching and i cant seem to find my exact answer.
Im about to buy a gc koni set up for my 89 hatch. I have 15x7 +40 dr20s with 195/50/15 on them. my fenders are not rolled so i was wondering if I lower the car around 2.5 inches will it rub the fenders? I will also be getting a camber kit too if it makes a difference.

thank you

More negative camber wil make a difference in both handling and tire rub. The 7" wheel seems a bit wide for a 195?

15x7 with 205 +38 on my car, all is good. You have a more narrow tire and more offset. I think you will be good.

so would you recommend not using a camber kit and leaving the negative camber?

You will not need a camber kit or rolled fenders for that setup at all. That is a very common size/offset for most FF Hondas.

I'm running the same wheel spec and tire, with some 3" or more lower and I don't even touch the fender liners. Skip the camber kit, it will handle better that way.

You will probably have to bend up the tabs that the mud guard bolts to.
