Default My 2000 Accord coupe build thread

So I have decided to switch my accord up for the new year. I got rid of the wing, got rid of the fiberglass front and rear bumper. Also had to get my side skirts cracked off due to me deciding to mold them into the body. I put the 02 front and rear bumper with the wings west lip kit. Here are a few pics of the car at the shop...will be updating soon.

As you guys can see from the pics I still haven't been able to install my comptech supercharger. I'm missing a few pieces and really haven't figured out exactly what they are. I'm also redoing my interior. I ordered the Apexi exhaust because my Greddy has had enough. Unfortunately due to the horrible events in Japan that exhaust is on back order to I'm waiting for a refund from Th Motorsports.

4/28/11 small update

let me ask you something mr jdm god. is this your car? are you paying for all things done to it? i didnt think so. if this dude wants to paint HIS car a bright color and re-do the interior to match then that his choice. atleast he took off the molded kit and put on a better looking one. i personally think its badass simply becuase nobody's still doing stuff like this to their cars anymore and its different. and i know your about to come back with "stop ridding his nuts douche"but im not ridding nobody's nuts just letting someone know that their car is badass and it dont matter what anyone else says!! keep up the good work OP and tint your windows lol

/\ What he said. Personally I think if you painted your grill section, and the indented area by each of your fog lights satin black, and perhaps maybe the roof skin, it would really help to break up the orange, and give it a much more balanced look. You could just use vinyl wrap on the roof skin, that way you could remove it in case you didn't like the look.

And if you were about 1.5 inches in the front, and 2 in the rear lower, with some more camber, it would look dope as hell.

Keep it up.

Great color choice! I would change the fenders and I think it will look 100 times better, but that my opinion anyways keep it up man.

lol jdm god wtf? where the hell did i mention JDM oh yeah im herra frush too right? this is out of nowhere personally i hate people saying everything is JDM like JDM HID kit bs JDM is Japanese Domestic Market if its not a part from a JDM Honda and its egay than its not jdm idk where the hell you pull that crap anyway i stated my opinion i dont give 2 shts about what you think and the owner of the car shouldn't either i personally don't like body kits and that is all if the owner likes it than go for it but i personally think that OEM not fing JDM idiot... is better and i agree he did take off the fiberglass crap but thats because he said it cracked.. if it didnt he'd still be driving it like that and whats the freaking point of spending 3k on a damn body kit when he could of done some motor stuff the car looks fast but is it? no im sorry but body kits are for kids i used to think body kits were the sht but now i know they are sht nothing else i see this project as a waste of money

^ I dont really care what you think genius. I make my car look like I want it to. I don't follow what everyone else does. The point of modifying your car is to be creative and different. I support both usdm and jdm. And I love rice by the way..how about you hop in you audi and take your *** to another forum!....its Honda-Tech....read that to your self silently a few times.

This is for all the other comments:
Also those fenders are Oem metal fenders that I had customized years ago. When I just repainted my car a few weeks back....I decided to keep them that way.
The interior is in the process of getting redone in all black. This is not the finished look yet, Im doing black headlights and also black emblems. I have a black cover that goes over the fog lights..those are the oem fog lights but since the lip goes over the hole for the fog lights the cover doesn't fit. Im trying to come up with something for it. I have Tein super street complete coilovers...and thats as low as it goes. I paid 1300 for the suspension last year....It hurts to think of buying another setup to drop the car lower. If anyone has any ideas on how to get it lower..please share.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. And the Haters.....no need to respond

Didn't ***** switch from Bimmer's to Audi's recently?.....

Anyway, that whole, "Turn the car around completely back to stock not Rice!" comment is the kind of thing that keeps the scene from being vast and unique. Sure, the OE styling with subtle touches is a very nice way to go, and a timeless look. But if everyone went that way, how long until nothing stood out? At that point, you could just throw creativity out the window, because everyone would all have the same Japanese only optional do-dad, and the same played out rims that I probably don't even need to mention because the ones reading this are probably thinking the same two names I am.

Anyway, expressing your opinion, and just straight up telling him how to do his own car, are two completely different things. The former is you just telling him it's not your thing, the latter is just you being a dick.
