UHMW Suspension Bushings
Hi peeps
I have a 1984 Honda Prelude and I have found someone who is preppared to make UHMW Bushing for the complete suspension
What do you guys think for these bushings in terms of
Durability
Strength
Road use
Self Lubricating Properties to prevent cracking
Are they able to damage my LCA's
Thanks

Are you certain that the car only has single axis suspension pivots? Any multiple axes pivots are going to have issues with plastic bushings.

Well at the back I have a McPherson system and the front is a double wishbone coil spring setup
I am not too sure on this as I have a feeling it is too hard and will not fit my application correctly am I correct in saying this ?

Won't fit correctly? There should be no reason for it to not fit, assuming they're made to the correct sizes.
I think the main issues to consider (ignoring durability, which I can't comment on) are personal tolerance for the increased NVH (rubber is used to reduce this in the first place) and whether you need multiple axes motion from the bushings (something rubber can provide that plastic can't).
