Today, I was driving home at about 45 mph and I noticed that my RPMs were just revving up and not engaging. I am fairly certain that it is the clutch, but what would cause the clutch to go out prematurely. I don't rag this vehicle out, and I don't ride the clutch either. It didn't seem like there were any warning signs of this occurring.

Does any one know an approximate cost of the repairs for a clutch on this vehicle?
