W hat causes the factory alarm to go off all the time on my 01 honda civic. just bought the car didnt come with a owerners manual Please Help

 

what do you mean it goes off all the time? Like randomly? Or is the sensor too sensitive? or?

 

I can turn the car off get out if i open the passenger side door the horn blowes off and on repedly until i switch the car to on position or crank up the engine

 

Dont have a Keyless transmitter But when horn blowes sounds like someone hit the panic button has anyone else experenced this kind of trouble

 

You said when you open passenger side door, then horn(alarm) blows off.
1st, call dealer and ask if this vehicle come with factory security system(call parts dept.)
I think it is.. If so, you need to suspect a switch at passenger side key tumbler.
It is located inside of door panel and attached back side of key cylinder.
3 wire connector and a pink wire confirms door unlock with key.
If this switch is faulty, it can send wrong signal to MICU(multi integrated control unit) and security system to alarm blow off.
