Rough running after water pump replacement
Well a buddy of mine replaced the water pump on my 92 Accord LX, and when we started it back up it ran extremely rough. We had some spark issues on two wires, so I replace them.
It still runs rough (not as rough), but I got codes 14 and 15. I reset ECU and got code 15 after 30 hours of running it.
By rough I mean it sputters, but gets better with higher RPMs. It seems to lose power off and on at any RPM. I've lost some oil during that 30 minutes, but it has some oil issues anyway.
I'm thinking timing is off, but don't know. I am losing my eyesight, so I am having trouble keeping up on the repairs, so I want input on this to see if I can adjust the timing without too much trouble -- if that's the issue
I got a Haynes manual but 3/4 of the time it gives a way involved procedure that after doing repairs, you go ... hmmm I didn't have to do steps 1-9 lol, so if anyone can save me some time or effort, it would be appreciated. Or if there's a how-to on timing adjustment on here, just point me there

The Code 15 is probably the reason for poor spark/rough running. It usually points toward it being an issue with the wiring to your distributor, your ignition coil or the ignitor (ICM - ignition control module). The Haynes manual should have a pretty good test procedures for both the coil and the ICM.
Additional info just discovered, I have a spark at the wire to the alternator. Never had this before. Still gonna test the coil and ICM, but thought I'd toss that item on.
Well I rechecked the timing belt, it is installed correctly. Still could be off a tooth. Gonna check timing on my next off day. Replaced coil, it was bad. Ignitor was good. No codes for 2 days, still running rough, but now a code 43, which everyone says is the O2 sensor.
