The auto trans will hold you back for the most part but hey, I've seen some auto that pulls pretty nice.

Decent header, 3" intake piping & a quality air filter, 2.25" or 2.5" exhaust piping & quality muffler, and just keep up with maintenance such as spark plugs, caps, rotors, etc so the engine can run healthy. Dont neglect the PCV as it'll help your engine last alot longer by removing moisture out of your crankcase.

If you really have the dough and don't care about money then go with what Bisi has in stock and you'll be golden. His header & cam are off the hook! Everybody will recommend you to get his parts if you were to choose Bisi and some other brand company.

Iv owned one for a while before selling it and getting a type s rsx but a good cam complimented by good headers is a good combo. I had the hks hi power 3 inch exhaust with some dc headers and a bisimoto level two cam and it ran pretty quick

i heard dc headers are good but there 4-2-1 headers. I was thinking about getting 4-1 header, wouldn't that give out more power?

try and balance power with handling. its good to go fast and know youll be able to control your car.. IMO might want to look into suspension somewhere down the road as well

Not on a street car with simple bolt-ons, your best bet is to go with an off the shelf 4-2-1. As mentioned, if you have money to burn, $800 you could get Bisi's 4-1 header and get 10-15 hp out of it. To get even more you will have to break into the internals anyway. you are limited with the 8.8:1 compression ratio if you want to stay naturally aspirated.

Throw a snail setup (Turbo) on the F22 and you could go up to approx. 300whp on stock internals. Cheaper in the sort term, but more parts to fix later on.

There are other products for the F22 beside Bisi, shop around and you'll find them. There are deals on parts that fit the F22 everywhere. However he is the most well known for making power with the SOHC F. That reminds me. I still don't have any Bisi parts yet, might have to get a head gasket or something from him

Happy Modding!
