I've searched on this an read info. for about an hr. an I think I have my answer but just want to make sure i'm correct/get others opinion.
I am not knew to the import world.....when I was younger I had a 1997 acura integra ls an put $ into it an the story goes lol! But recently I bought a 1996 honda civic dx w/ 5 speed for me to drive around town as a dd that has a few issue's but think I can do the work myself an save me money.
O.k. here's my ?'s
1st.
Here recently when driving I hear a load whinning coming from the transmission then today on my way home from work it started to jerk real bad an making sounds I can't even explain lol. I think it's the imput shaft or the tranny is just trashed. luckly I was going fast enough to get her to coast home. What is your guy's thought's on that any help would be Help full.
2nd.
My speedo has never worked since I bought it what would that be?

Can/does any one know of the place in Manassas Va. area that sale motor's an tranny's. They import them from Japan......I'm just looking for a replacement tranny for my 1996 civic.

Never mind found them.
My ? is now has any dealt with Japanese Engines Import Inc.
Good or Bad experience...

 

O.k well since the rain has stopped I had time to go out an see if the tranny will at least go into gears an it won't go into gear when car is turned off or running so my guess now is the clutch.
Any imput would help this fella out alot.
