i have a 95 accord ex...the car turns over and runs, then as soon as i release the key it dies....any suggestions? cap, rotor, plugs, starter?

UPDATE: Finally got a chance to look things over...nothing was loose that i could see, but i did notice that one of the distributor seals is leaking...let me know with your suggestions

 

I've had issues like this before and it turned out to be the IACV or the EVAP or EGR..

Once tested and verified. You will need to replace the electrical part of the key switch.

I used a manual to help me before, there is a write up in the FAQ for the 6th gens. That will give you some idea. I didn't do this, a search in this section may turn up more info.

I have a 92 Honda Accord and something keeps killing my battery. When i get it jumped and drive it it cuts out when I push on the gas. Plus when I turn my lights on it kills the car. My gages are going haywire!!! I have checked the battery altenator and changed the fuel pump and took out my dome light fuse thinking maybe it was a fuse pulling juice from my batt. I just dont know what it could be somebody pls HELP!!!!
