Default 1999 GS-R Tri-Y header, Hi Power, what to do

I ordered the High-End tri-Y header for my 1999 Acura Integra.

As if right now it has the HI Power cat back on it with stock header and cat.

I have found various threads stating what to do to keep my cat, but I am not interested in that solution.

Through my search I have discovered that no one really makes an off the shelf test pipe for my situation.

This is because the header has a 2.5 collector and the exhaust has a 55mm piping (supposed to be 2.25 but correct me if I am wrong.

To any one that has had a custom test pipe made can you get me the dimensions (length is what I really need) and maybe some pictures of it installed and uninstalled.

Also if anyone knows of an off the shelf solution that does not involve a modded high flow cat let me hear them.

On a side note I have heard that the header is going to be much longer than my stock one so I am also worried that there may not be any room to put a test pipe/high flow cat.

Some one chime in with serious help.

If your response to this thread incudes statements such as "search", "learn the forum rules newb", or any of that ridiculous talk then include a valid thread that has relevent answers AND AN ACTUAL ANSWER TO MY QUESTION.

Thanks in advance guys.

You should upgrade your exhaust to match the header. Some exhausts start with a smaller diameter that increases as you move towards the tail pipe. Your situation is the opposite, and would require for the exhaust gasses to accelerate when they reach the smaller pipe.
