I have a 96 civic obd2 with an obd1 jumper harness and I just did a b16a2 swap from a 94 obd1 delsol vtec. I'm wondering what ecu do I need to run this motor in my car. Do I need a civic obd1 b16 or a delsol obd1 b16. Any input is appreciated.

 

Motor is obd1 for sure because no 2nd 02 sensor and no crankshaft sensor.

 

Del Sol is the only usdm OBD-1 B16, that ecu may be your only choice short of a chipped P28.

 

USDM or JDM P30 OBD1 ecu, USDM are hard to find and expensive, JDM can be had for around $100-$150

 

id say the same thing, get the p30 if you can find one

if all else fails find a virgin p28 and get it modified to work for your car

 

any obd1 vtec ecu will work.

37820-p2t-a11. That is an obd2 ecu out of a 99-00 SI. It will give you some CELS but once you fix those you will also be able to pass emissions.
