Can you put new clear coat over old clear coat?
Had some touch up spots on the panel, just wondering if i can just spray new clear over the old clear coat? i know itll leave a flat space between the flat and the wet spot, but can i just cut and buff that to even and blend it out? or will i have to wetsand the whole clear coat off the panel, and re clear the whole thing?
and what grit sand paper should i use just to get rid of clear coat without sanding the base coat? #2000?

if so i wouldn't go too low of grit. 1500-2000 just to scuff it up enough. I have never had to clear on top of old clear but when you miss the spraying window after you originally spray base you have to scuff it back down to 800 and then spray.
yes you can respray a new clear coat over the old. You'll need to wet sand the area first, then you can spray a new clear coat on...I'd use 1000-1500 grit paper
