Default handcuff gear box vs dog gears

hey guys am asking this question because everyone does after breaking there first box...lol...

first off my car is making a around 600whp but can go as far as 800whp.. i was looking at my options as i herd alot about handcuff for the boxes and dog gears are not the cheapest thing...

my car is weekend driven has a twin dics clutch and drags on 26'' tire....could you guys please
help me with some feed back as am no expert when it comes to this topic...

It comes down to how you much you value reliability at the power level you're at. Are you willing to pay for it? If you can't afford the inital investment of an aftermarket gearset like Albins, Liberty, MFactory, or PPG then you either need to try and make the stock gear set work at 600+ whp, turn the power down, or find a new hobby. It's ultimately YOUR priorities... and WE can't make that decision for you.

am not asking fo a 600whp weekend driven hp car... everyone knows after 350whp traction becomes enemy number 1...

what am asking is if a stock trany with a handcuff will prolong the life of your box even by a extra hour which could be 40 passes at that power level when draging..rather than spending 5k on a gear set up that will eventually need repair also...

my car runs on 10psi on the street and still spins 225 tires i just wana know how well a handcuff holds up over stock before going to a dog box and have a total noise box..
