Icon2 Heat Protector from Exhaust Fumes on Bumper?

I have a 2005 4 door civic and in order for my exhaust to fit I had to cut my bumper but the exhaust fumes at all the paint away from that area. So I now have a new bumper and i want to cut it then add some type of heat shield or cover or some protector to put in the area the exhaust fits to protect my paint and bumper from getting burned any where i can get one that fits anything will help

You could always fabricate one from some sheetmetal or scrap tubing, like this: http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=95782

Or you could purchase something designed for another car, like this: http://www.stikiller.com/product.php...103&bestseller

^^ I was thinking the same thing.

Make one, have one made,or modify one from a different vehicle. I've seen them made from aluminum, but haven't see a CF one on a 7G Civic yet.
