Default D16z6 CRX Chokes at low rpms... Help!

Im very new to any type of swapped honda. I have owned some before but not swapped. I just got this crx and it seems very good at anything higher than 3k RPMs it does well but on lower RPMs it kinda chokes a bit. Please if you got any info or links to a thread that I havent stumbled upon please share. anything would be helpful. 89 CRX SI full OBD1 Conversion, 95 D16Z6, Full exhaust from header back, new head gasket... Does well when warm but horrible when cold. Starts up everytime just fine then starts autoreving. If Theres any info you need from me please ask aswell. I'm not much of a tech but always looked at the hobby from the sidelines. First project here. Thanks guys. You guys rock!!! So much good knowledge on these forums. Keep up the good work.

did you ever find out the problem? I just bought a 89 with the same problem and was wondering what it may be.
