my civic in the last month has loss of power after 3000 rpm.it starts and runs but as soon as i try to accelerate on the freeway it cuts out big time,i asked a mechanic over the phone and he said either the timing belt jumped a tooth or the distributer needs to be replaced..any other suggestions would be appreciated!!! thanks
