very simple 88 crx radiator swap question?answer needed asap
I have an 88 crx si bone stock d16a6 an for multiple reason the radiator needs to be changed out.
My question is: Are there any differences in my stock d16a6 crx si radiator and a stock oem "jdm" b16 crx radiator? I have the chance to buy a used oem b16 crx si radiator for cheap but I only want to buy it if it is an exact oem identical copy of my original d-series radiator. Included the stock oem fan bolting up as it should from factory.

The radiator for the b16 should have larger diameter hoses to flow more coolant than the stock crx one so the hoses may have to be forced on there even if it does fit.
err okay kinda sounds like a no go then. is the b16 radiator a dual core unit or is it still single core?
Also anyone know how tight to tighten the upper control arm bolts on a 88 crx .....i mean like #1 how tight the bolts need to be I "heard" 22ft. lbs.
#2 at what position should I tighten them down. I mean Im lowered on full skunk 2 coilover about 2.5" drop should the upper control arms be like level when I tighten the bolts or should I jack up the suspension all the way until the upper control arm is smashed against the top of the wheel well then tighten them................
edit ill do a search an start a new thread thanks
