I just recently purchased an 91 honda civic hatchback..

This relay is near the dash on the driver side, just dangling..


Could anyone verify which relay this is?

Main Relay? I know the 92-95 honda civic main relay is completely different..

thats gunna be your main relay bro

 

its goes under the dash to the left of the fuse box

 

that is NOT the main realy. it appears to be an aftermarket relay. most honda relays are black and hard plastic casing.

the main relay has a rectangular plug with 8 slots but only 7 wires going to it. it will also say Mitsuba

 

hahaha now that i c the pic i feel dumb lmao.........it sounded like it was in tha same area tho lol.....

 

Bumping this back up, i need a hand here fellas.. I just realized i never posted a picture of the wires or color of the wires going to this relay..

I need to know what relay this is and can't figure it out, whichever it is.. it's bad.. somebody has had the case off and it's causing issues..

seems like two black/white wires, blue wire, and red/black..

It looks identical to the ''made in china'' one that's in the car, but I just need to verify it's the right relay

 

The blk/white wire looks like the starter signal what pin is it connected to on the relay.

 

Makes sense.. cause when this relay acts up with the key all the way on and me trying to start it.. nothing happens then u wait a second or ''tap'' the relay and it will work.

The part # I listed and linked to, what is that for?
