I finally picked up a civic and its my 1st honda. Coming from a VIP background my concept of suspension maybe a bit skewed. My overall idea is to do OEM upgrades and 1st thing 1st is suspension. I've read through the EP3 threads and have yet to find if you can successfully swap the mugen type R. I see that people say the 1.5 is too low but its obvious that it works in the type R. what do i need to successfully transplant that suspension into my ep3.

Car will be daily driven - non track use - just looking for practicality and I want to do it right

for what your doing the mugen is WAY over priced. just get some ground controls and konis and call it a day.

 

i can get them for cheap - i have japanese banking and i can get them shipped on base using usps

i can use yahoo auctions japan - gooparts - upgarage and pretty much any other store in japan so the price margins are going to very different in comparison if i tried to buy them from the U.S.
