hello fellow ht members well im tring to drop a stock ls engine in a gsr but what i wanna know is what dont interchange between the gsr and ls engines when doing this

i have a ls engine without throttle body or engine harness but i have the gsr wil this work or do i have to convert or get a ls harness

what else should i look out for

i tried search to no success thanks in advance

and this is till i get the gsr rebuilt so i can make it to work

 

you will need a stock ls ecu because you will throw 2 codes for the vtec, an LS intake manifold, i believe you *might* need a diff throttle cable. And that should be it. Everything else bolts right up.

and i do have the stock mani but what i dont have is the throttle bodie and distributor and my friend gave me a ls ecu hopefully a good 1lol

i was just looking at the oil pump and i see there is a sensor on the gsr oil pump i guess the crank sensor does the ls need this sensor and there is a not sure i guess a iavc looking thing on top of the manifold that the gsr doesnt have
