Default Buy New LS Motor for turbo or GSR Swap in 95 integra LS HELP PLZ

ok so basically i have 95 integra LS with 142,xx miles on it. it burn a half a quart of oil a month it has aalot of black soot in the muffler black stuff shoots out the exhaust
when i rev up or stomp the gas and smoke comes out and theres a burning smell coming form my engine bay every time i drive it didnt start doing that til recently. my friend thinks my valves are
bad but idk. i goal was to turbo it on stock motor except arp headstuds for 300whp but thats not looking to well.im on a 5k budget but i want no how much money i will have saved up until july so idk if it will even be 5K.
so heres my Questions:

1.should i buy a new LS motor for 1200 Shiped from hmotorsonline.com and turbo that heres my setup with new motor:

- new LS motor= $1200 shipped hmotorsonline.com
-t3/t04e garrett turbo 57trim .48a/r = $595
-t3/t04e oil feed an retrun kit = $120
-spoolinpreformance log manifold package: = $575
304l stainless log manifold
2.5" mild steel marbel bent down pipe
02 sensor bung
1.5" dumptube open atmosphere
high quality flex pipe
all nuts and bolts
-tail 38mm wastegate = $225
-tail bov = 240
-arp headstud kit b18a/b = $180

all the above is from spoolinperformance.com^

-Go-Autoworks medium intercooler 350-400hp 28"x7"x2.5" = $150
-Go-Autoworks DC2 race charge intercooler pipes = $265

from Go-Autoworks.com^

-percision & 525cc injectors an walbro fuel pump package = $350 xenocron.com
-hondata s300 = $521 horsepowerfreaks.com
-skunk2 intake manifold = $290 ebay.com
-apexi n1 muffler turbo = $233 amazon.com
-motorola 2.5map bar sensor = $35 phearable.net
-3" exhuast from end of downpipe to muffler by local muffler shop = $175

total = $6k way out of my budget it was 4,800 without new motor

2.or should i do a full gsr swap for 2900 plus 300 shipping from hmotorsonline.com and do this all motor setup:

-skunk2 intake manifold $300
-dc sport headers $340
-2.5in exhaust $175 (local muffler shop)
-apexi n1 2.5in muffler $233
- cold air intake $50 (ebay they all do the same in my book but i will be using a k&n air filter for another $50)
-tune $300 (estimated most likely less)

total = $4300

the only reason im concerned about going turbo with the LS is i dont want to buy it an plan on turbo the come july i dont have enough money and half to go back to school in august and be stuck with a slow LS. when i could have went GSR did mods and still be decently fast.
so PLZ give some advice on what i should do and some help on why any of you think my motor is doing all that stuff would be very helpful too.

BIG THANKZ TO ALL OF HONDA-TECH

^^ probably from honda... if you're talking about the silver piece several companies make spark plug covers for LS motors.

well i got a compression and leakdown test done on my car and the mechanic said i was good and o throw a turbo on it. but i dont no if i trust him because i still blow smoke out my muffler when i stomp on the gas. so i want to get sum input from you guys and see if the compression an leakdown number are correct:

compression & leakdown
psi. 161 168 174 175
psi. 8 6 4 3

thats exactly how he wrote it down on service description on my reciept

any help is appricated thanks

if it were my car, i wouldn't turbo with that mileage. don't know the condition of the internals, sounds like you have leaking valve seals or ring blow-by. don't know how well the trans and clutch will hold up.. you're pretty much asking to buy a new motor. just do the motor first, turbo, tune, do it right or do it twice..

btw- from hmotorsonline those aren't "new" motors, maybe new to you but still used and unknown abuse... go factory fresh. buy a bare block and build it, or boost that one with low boost but eventually you'll be saying "I should have started from the bottom up"

gsr swap leave stock intake manifold and DO NOT get dc header buy a itr 4-1 Exhaust manifold, intake manifold not a great upgrade for price (just something to say you have)

i no my motor has some mileage but i have seen threads with people running around 300whp on 160-185,xxx miles on there motor and i admit i dont even no the past abuse of this motor but i believe if i can fix my smoke and oil burning prob i will be ok i bought a PVC today for like $3 to see if that would help cant hurt for that little money but we will see if thats not it next is valve stem seals there only lik $35 not bad.

but question how do i check t see if my valve seals are leaking Turbo-LS said to take off my intake manifold and exhaust manifold to see if there leakig but how will taking them off tell me

I would either rebuild that ls motor! you can save allot by getting the ls motor you have rebuilt. then put a turbo kit together, get a turbo kit and tune it. And you can get a turbo kit for way less than that man! search more.
