hey everyone, im planning on installing side markers onto my ef hatch. does anyone know a template i could use??

i found this template (top Pic) but i was wondering if it would work onthe side markers pictured in the (bottom pic). some one help me please

This is for sidemarkers to only blink when turn signal is enabled (jdm)





This is for sidemarkers to blink when turn signal is enabled ... but will turn on constant with headlights on, blinking in opposite with the turn signal (usdm)

 

yea, just measure out where u want it to go.
u'll have to grind the plastic ever so slightly to make it easily removable, otherwise it'll get stuck and yoou'll have to press harder or pull harder.

 

Just did this install and used the wiring diagram here to do mine. This diagram is wrong, this is for the EG (I believe). All I do know is that the proper way to wire the side markers so that they stay on with the running lights and blink opposite the bumper turn signal is to wire both the positive and ground on the side marker to the positive and ground on the combination light turn signal (the light farthest from the headlight itself in the combination light housing). It should look like this:



It does not matter which color goes where as long as the two wires from the side marker are spliced into the two wires from the turn signal.
