Strange overdrive issues and A/C
Hey guys, for some strange reason when im driving a constant speed on a flat highway and randomly my 1st gen jumps in to over drive and my rpms pop up about 200-400. Fluids are good.
Next, now that its getting warm here, i turned my A/C on for the first time this year. When my A/C is on , it causes my transmission to not want to shift. At stop lights, my rpms bounce real low. it will shift from 1st to 2nd normal, but in 2nd it doesnt want to shift to 3rd until around 4500 rpm then goes to 3rd and 4th quick.
Any suggestions?
Its a 1998 automatic with 200k its mechanically fine, rebuilt engine head about 20k ago. Thanks!
