Default big tube vs reg tube: hytech rep

I had a hytech reg when i dynoed a while back seem to hold its own. got a real good deal on the big tube and didnt really want to wait the longer time to get the regular.

Currently just have bolts, IM change, itr tb and such. I notice the primaries seem to be the same size only thing that really looks bigger is the 2-1 portion. I plan on down the road going with ported head and such but do not have it now. Hope i didnt make the mistake because im in a rush to get the car back on the road

Will i see much hp loss if any from doing this, if its 1whp or something then idk but if its gonna have tq like a stock d series than **** that

Pretty sure your old thread got locked for a reason. Why create another? You asked for people's opinions there, went against them, and now you're asking for more? Why bother?

Small tube is good for sub 210whp(dynojet) vs. The big tube. Ive seen losses from 3-8k rpm when comparing a big tube to a small tube on a stock bottom end ITR.

Because theres other applications at very comparable prices that will better suit your combo and provide a better powerband.
