Not positive that this will go here?
OK first off I'm not positive that this will go here but if its not i want to apologize first. Here we go... I bought a 91 civic hatch this winter during january and i kept it in my garage sence then till the snow melted...But the days got nice and my buddy and i replaced the springs on the old girl... i got the 2 front and the back driver side... i went for a smoke and to talk on the phone...well all in all i came back to him swearing up a storm. He some how broke the brake line (hard line) we replaced that today but as we where filling up the new brake fluid the bleader valve broke off from rust and now im lost on getting that fixed...Can anyone tell me how to eaither get it replaced or how to get a new brake setup if theres a way to fix this cheap help me out.
If it was a front bleeder you'll need to get the piece out of the caliper and get a new bleeder from your local auto parts store, if it's the rear you'll need a new wheel cylinder, which will come with a new bleeder (they're around $15 - $20)
Ah.. the joy of working on rusty brakes. Break one piece off, and you replace them all...
Replace the caliper or wheel cylinder that the bleeder broke in. If the line that connects to it breaks, replace that too, if the line where that line connects to the frame breaks, replace that too and so on...
