Default how to replace screw fastener ...

The previous owner did a horrible job installing the crappy tape deck that was in the car when i bought it - they managed to break the top of the radio housing and forgot to install almost half of the screws when they put it back together. When i was going through to take it out, I couldnt remove one of the screws because it was screwed in so tight that the metal fastener it was screwed into (a small square piece with a hole for the screw threads that fits into the metal frame, see illustration) had been stripped.

I tried my best to remove the screw without damaging the fastener, but I had to mangle it and remove it in the end. I dont have a clue as to where I can find a replacement for this item. Its not the end of the world, I can hold the radio housing in with 3 screws, but I'd like to do it the right way if I could. Any ideas?
