Default dtr street sweeper or bisimoto v2 header

looking to upgrade my header and want something with a little more clearance from my hytech rep, car made 200whp 1.8l gsr, just want to hear some peoples personal experience from both these headers regarding clearance and horsepower. thanks

The bisimoto is still kind of an unknown. Not much testing has been done on it. The street sweeper is a solid header through and through. Either would be a good pick up.

can't really go wrong either way, plus you'll be supporting people who actually develope parts instead of people who just copies someone's hard work and research.

the dtr/ssr quality is one of the best in header buisness.I was running a bisi header in the past and i dont think that you cant compare these two header in the "craftsmanship" dept...

if you want the best ground clearance go with a smsp header...

12:1 wiseco 81.5
manley rods
skunk2 mani
skunk2 68mil tb
ported head
custom 3inch short ram with bpi stack
skunk2 pro1 cams
hytech rep header, vibrant cat, apexin1 2.5 inch exhaust

the car made 200whp dynapac with password gay intake and the cat was holding it back with my cams, so im going for a retune with my new intake no cat and want to get rid of the rep so thats why im asking, going in a month but stuck between the two, only thing about the bisi header ill have to get a half rad but the dtr header would be the same price of the bisi+rad, ill do a little more research and see what i can come up with

you got some serious timing belt moving issues..

I'd look into that..

its because of my heavy duty valve springs, but i got the vibrant timing belt tensioner just to be extra safe so it doesnt skip a tooth (internet pic) http://www.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=h...:0&tx=77&ty=89

thats a terrible reason to recommend one header over another.

SMSP or Toda. I honestly don't think I have ever seen a DTR "win" in a header test. They do look pretty cool though.

im typing to fast which is never good. I recommend calling dtr and asking him personally about his header, if it wont benefit you hell say so. Toda and smsp are legit as well

There's a lot of DTR stuff under the hoods of some fast *** cars. Plus Danny is a good guy and he takes care of his customers...that means something in my book.

There's a lot of cars that hold records with the Bisimoto headers and are known by many top racer's!

Including the fastest quickest all motor b-series street

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQICY...layer_embedded

Leslie Durst also holds the record for the fastest and quickest pro-all motor B-series with a 9.7et back in 2003 on a Bisi header

Even Jeremy Lookofsky back when he was breaking records with the H22 civic he went 9.98 on Bisi custom header

and of course Bisi all motor Insight that holds the record for highest MPH all motor @152 and is one of the quickest and of course holds fastest and quickest records both for D-series mid 10s ets and F-series 9.3et all motor with his header designs

I concur.. i'd much rather make 2-3 whp less, and know i'm being taken care of...then just buying something that "looks good"

Good products vs good products , the results aren't going to be OMG WTF AWESOME..the results are going to vary slightly..

Like cam comparsions, a good set of cams vs a good set of cams, you can't expect a 20whp difference.. a 5-10whp difference is a good realistic number.

I believe customer service speaks highly..

Thank you boosteddb8! Me and the rest of the team here at Bisimoto Engineering appreciate all the support. All this goes to show that there is in fact a lot of research and development into our Header designs.

Wouldn't race cars, other than Bisimoto race cars be considered third party testing? I'm just saying....
