Long term effects of not having primary O2?
its a sensor.
it wont effect anything sides throwing cel's and put your car into limp mode.
if your car is not tuned, you may have problems with extremely hot EGT, but not like a the o2 sensor would tell you anything about it. . thats about it.

You will run super rich with no Primary O2. The car does go into limp mode like Soup **** said. You might not have vtec either, or it might engage funny. My friend had a bad O2, and the car would studder before it went into vtec. Something to think about.

what about rear o2 sensor? the dyno i go to claims that if i have the rear o2 sensor hooked up(even though i have a test pipe) and i get my cel 65 to go away, it will run better? true or not?
