Hello everyone here. My engine was JDM b18c-r but the head was using b16a. Now I planning to replace a true type-r head because suspect the head cause white smoke when vtec engage. I know B16b head and b18c-r head can fit with no problem.


I ask some seller that they posted online in my country. One of the seller said that CTR b16b valve size is slightly bigger than ITR b18cr those made year before 2000. those made late year 2000 ITR same size valve and camshaft. He told is so few body know and suggest me to take CTR head year 99 or ITR year 2000, after I heard that I also surprise. I can't find any answer for this so created this thread. Please state that is this true?
