Default 08 S2K, 14k, Mint, Seat Bolster Wear!

It's a certified car, goes thru Honda's 150 point inspection, hahaah
12k/12 Month Bumper to Bumber
7Yr/100K Drivetrain
Mint
Owned by a 57 year old
Drivers seat has typical bolster wear.
Stock

Would you pay 27K
If not what is it worth?
Dealership won't budge at all.

Thanks, Ryan

An 08 with 14k shouldn't have seat bolster wear, and no at 27k it is not worth it at all. Here is a local example of one from a stealership

i was told seat bolster wear is an easy fix and should not keep you from buying a car that you like. wear on my car is much less obvious now that i applied conditioner, and can be 100% fixed easy if i ever need to for $100 bucks or so.

I literally just bought one, laguna blue with 17k miles for $23.3k. Owned by an older gentleman as well. Tell the dealer, no deal. $27k is practically blue book.

Warranty is worth 1-2k to me just for the incase something happens..
In the NW there hard to come by unmolested.
I've been looking for months.
CPO cars are usaully garaged, single owner, low mileage, warrantied, and mint. Not a scratch on them.

Tough call, They will give me 14k for my 07 SI, 60K, needs tires yesterday.
Basically saves me $1400 in sales tax or is the equivelant to $15,400 trade in with tax break.

Locally private party SI's go for 11-14K. Stealerships 14-16K.

This car has the same bolster wear and has no warranty. My car would have a 1 year bumper to bumper, 100K/7YR motor/powertrain/transmission warranty plus 5500 less miles.

Apple to Apples my local car is a better deal.

sold before I could pull the trigger @ $27, 550
The hunt continues. Looking for a 07 or newer, one owner, clean carfax, under 20K.
White or Silver.

Okay then looks like you have it figured out then so why ask if it is a good deal?

And if the one I posted had the same bolster wear then I am confused as to what you consider bolster wear. The S I see with bolster wear have the leather pretty much worn away, cracked, and faded. That is why I say a 2008 shouldn't have bolster wear.

I just bought an '08, with 12k miles only, mint,
also CPO (from owner though), for between 23-25k.
Won't say exact price, but you get the idea.
The guy that bought for 27k$ must have been rich,
ripped off IMO. But I'm loving this car so I'd say its
worth 27k

I paid 26k for my 08 cr with 8k miles so i think 22-24k would be more decent price, 25k is too high imo

My S2k is an 06, the black trim around the side view mirrors is crumbling, the drivers seat developed a hole, it cracked between the perforations I'm assuming. Now its got the same thing going on at the top. The car had the 100k mile extended warranty and 4 year on everything else, they wouldn't even give me the time of day... I'm still pissed to say the least.
