Hey what's up honda tech new to the websiteand I thought I get my best answer from here. Well yea I own a 92 civic cx for about a few months now I did a obd1 si swap been riding it since it was installed but went out ****ing around with other Honda/Acura one nite stop at a mobile gas station for snacks hopped back in my ride reverse quickly throw it in 1st punch the gas and the car shut down on me lol I was embrassed lol but yea that nite I tried jumping it put lil oil kept trying to turn it over it it had no power just the battery and oil light was on but once I clutch and turn the key it disappears now been a few weeks I miss my toy I went nd thought mayb it's my alternator so I switch that car still won't turn over so I change the battery and the negeitive battery cord and it didn't start so I kno it ai the bTtery or the alternator so I I got the cables hooked it up to the starter and it started rite up so I took off the cables it powered off slowly was weird like dying out so I did the jump again but switch it quickly to the battery and the car ran fine left it on for 30mins took off the cables it died out 2 mins after I know it s along story but I had to put it all out there so I can get the rite help I miss my eg6 nd what my dailey car back please help a jdm brother out!!

But after reading it a couple of times, tell me if this is what you're saying,
1: Your car won't start under it's own electrical system.
2: When the jumper cables are attached from your battery to a second vehicle, it will not start.
3: When you attach jumper cables to the positive post on the starter it started right up?

If this all sounds correct, sound to me as you have a bad positive battery cable.

 

Good looks man! it was the negeitive cord! It's the one under the airtake connect from the tranmission to the shell. Thanks for the advice.
