Need help badly! Carbon Fiber hood fell apart!
I had my hood propped and I left it for about 45 minutes. When I came back, it was all messed up.
What can I do to fix it? I am so glad that it did not do this while driving.
Where can I take it to? It seems to be a fiberglass problem.
Factor-X spoon weave hood.

I'd almost suggest taking it to a body shop, they should have experience with fiberglassing etc, and probably wont charged too much...

Thats strange I have never seen that occur on a cf hood before. All that from just the hood being open? What happens when you try to use your factory bolts? If the hole did get bigger you can try to get a bigger screw and jam it in. Also use some type of glue with the bolts and add some glue to the latch area where the hood rests on. Looking at the pictures I don't know how much a body shop can really do with that. Maybe add a few more layers of fiberglass then rethread the hole but thats about it. Inform us on what you did to cure this problem for future reference.
