si mpfi conversion or obd1 mpfi conversion
all i need for the obd1 mpfi conversion is the ecu and dizzy
should i do that or sell off those parts and just do the ef/crx si mpfi conversion?
which is better
which is easier
which is cheaper

*sigh* what are you trying to achieve what are your goals what motor etc.
both work fine, both will need an mpfi conversion first, obd1 will also need different dizzy plugs and a jumper harness for the ecu, however it's way more tunable

Mis-information often leads to unanswerable questions. As stated above you need a mpfi swap before you can begin the think about obd1 conversion.
You want = MPFI OBD0
You need = MPFI OBD0 distributor, MPFI OBD0 ECU, MPFI OBD0 intake with injectors
Your car now = MPFI OBD0
You want = MPFI OBD1
You need = OBD0-OBD1 jumper harness, OBD1 ECU, OBD1 distributor, OBD1 injectors.
Specifically with injectors, you can use OBD0 injectors or OBD1. If you use OBD0, you need an injector resistor box with the secondary wires from the injectors going to it. If you use OBD1, just wire all the secondary wires from the injectors together.
If you choose to get an OBD1 or OBD2 intake manifold (d16z6 or d16y8 is best, matter of opinion), you can use it for your MPFI swap without converting to OBD1 or 2. (Never convert to OBD2, okay!?)
For example, I'm using an OBD2 D16y8 intake manifold on my OBD0 mpfi swap. OBD2 injectors don't require an injector resistor box, just like OBD1 injectors (the exact same ones?). I'm still using an obd0 mpfi distributor, and obd0 mpfi ecu.
OBD = On Board Diagnostics
OBD is dependent on your ECU+Distributor+Injectors
Things can be rewired to work between different levels of OBD
you guys got me wrong my question is should i just do the straight si swap or since im going to mpfi and already have most the obd1 parts should i just go ahead and do the full obd1
i have none of the si parts but all i need for the obd1 swap is the dizzy and ecu i have the rest

i have all plugs wires jumperharness injectors intake manifold etc for the obd1 i would just have to buy the ecu and dizzy...should i do that or just sell off that stuff and buy the stuff to do the si mpfi swap
DPFI/MPFI and OBD0/OBD1 swaps are two totally different things.
In order to do either you have to understand what they are in the first place.

i get what your saying and i understand......but my question is since i have all the parts should i do a full obd1 swap or sell the stuff and get just the si swap....im just doing it for the mpfi now and build later.....but since i have the parts now should i go ahead and do the full obd1

Then, when you convert to OBD1 fully, it's a matter of installing the motor, swapping your harness onto it, wiring the dizzy, vtec, and other sensors, jumper harness... good to go. that's what i'm doing anyways.
