91 hatch shutting off while driving
i have a 1991 civic hatchback ef 1.5. i bought it a few weeks ago. while im driving the cars check engine light come on for a second and then shuts off the engine not even a second after. i was told by the seller that it needed the fuel pump main relay repalced. (i beleived him because hes a honda tech but now wont answer my calls) i got two codes out of it. code 15-ignition output signal, and code 16-fuel injectors. i checked the fuel injectors and they seems fine. i have been told it may be the distributor even though he repalced the cap not too long ago. also another idea was the fuel pump.
any suggestions would be great

well i tried to sea-foam it and it didn't change anything. i took off the top of it and nothing seemed out of the ordinary.
i'm new at this so i'm trying to learn as i go along. ive had a few people i know look at it but nothing has really been said besides it possibly being the fuel pump or distributor

anyways, you just looked inside this thing? the big black almost round box?

that won't tell you much, it's basically just an air box.

look for these plugs on your intake. the white one is your intake air temp sensor, don't mind it. i couldn't find a decent picture.
the green one plugs into your main injector
the brown one plugs into your aux injector
my buddy was having the issue where he would drive, C.E.L would come on, and then if he gave it gas it would die. We replaced his spark plug wires (bad connection), and cleaned his fast idle valve. Seems to have worked. Just throwing ideas out there.
If you take the cap off, there is a greyish box held in with 4 screws, and it has 2 wires screwed into it. That's your igniter (as i call it). Replace the small things at first so you know those aren't the issues, that igniter is easy, and you can get one from a junk yard for cheap.
also you might find this useful if you haven't been around these cars much, just to give you an idea of what is what.

that "useless sensor" has a purpose, I can't remember it off the top of my head.
Good luck!
i've heard good and bad things about seafoam...
