Default Auto ecu on manual ls swap

i got a 95 ls swap in my eg hatch, im having a hard time finding an OBD1 ecu locally for a manual tranny. there are lots of auto swaps around so is it possible i can use the auto ecu with it? what would be the disadvantages?
thanks

only disadvantage is that you will have a check engine light on, other than that none other. When inspection time comes you can always remove the cel light bulb from the cluster and if the cel light bothers you a piece of black tape over it will do it.

If you use a P75 you should be able to convert the ECU itself as shown below:

If you use an automatic PR4 you'll throw an EGR code no matter what you do (short of using a '92 - '93 automatic LS IM and wiring up the EGR valve)
