Default dissasembling a h22a4 short block, need help with something

hello guys, check this out, I have a 97 lude, and i bought a 2000 short block for 250 , and it has a spun rod bearing, anyways, I took off the oil pan, and now Im trying to get to the crank, there were like 10 long bolts i took out that look like they run through the oil unit, or whatever that girdle looking thing is to the mains. I took them out, and the thing wont come off, does anyone know how to get it off so i can get to the crank, anything will help, thanks, Mike
