Icon2 Will remote start harm my car?

So i just got the Viper 5901 with remote start installed awhile back. I keep getting mix reviews on if remote starting my car will harm it or not. Got 50% of people saying it is bad and 50% its fine. Just wanted to get you guys opinion or facts. Thanks in advance.

Stick or auto?
I came outside once to my civic repeatedly remote starting itself into the wall. Very dangerous in a stick.

As far as an automatic goes, the car doesn't know the difference between turning the key or remotely starting it.

either don't use the remote, or get used to leaving your car in neutral when you park. you wouldn't want to remote start your car into your garage wall or another car in a parking lot or a person.

The way they made the remote the remote start button is so flush in the remote it's even hard to press it when I want to. so not really worried about going off randomly. Also I always leave my car in neutral and no one ever drives my car.
