I have a 2000 integra n i was drivin around yesterday n i started 2 hear a grindin noise .. it happens in every gear at around 3000 RPMs .. i parked my car , put it in neutral n reved it 2 see if it would happen wen i WASNT movin .. n i got da same grindin noise at da same rpms , around 3200 .. does any1 kno wat it is ??

 

Mine gsr did the same thing it was at about 3200
I got some heat panels removed and the noise went away, so try that

i was hopin it was nuttin serious .. cuz da grindin noise is sounds nastyy .. its been savin me gas tho lol i shift early so dat it doesnt make the noise

 

Mostly likely loose heat shield on the exhuast manifold

 

Pop your hood and rev it to see where the noise is coming from.

 

Ive got a rattle from about 3,000-3,500 In EVERY gear and is only absent if I'm really romping around. Annoying as ****... Think it's the bracket halfway down the exhaust mani. I have been meaning to post a vid to see if anyone else has the same prob.

My old DA had something similar tho but would only happen once the gas peddle reached a certain point, but it sounded softer & more like high pitched rattling or hissing. Never figured out what that was
