What can be the widest tire i can use on a 15's, i need that cuz my car needs more handling from the tire, is not ABS equiped and the brakes are good enough to lock the tires, so i need to know the widest tire i can fit in the without changin the overall diameter of the tire, thanks guys

Why not just get a stickier tire?

Its a 5.5 inch wide rim.

195 is recommended.
205 is possible.
215 is not suggested.
225 I've heard has been done once (will rub trailing arm without a spacer)(DONT DO THIS).

 

so the widest i could posibly can is 215? i want experience from someone that did this and worked for him

Go with 205. 215 sectional doesnt have too many sidewall and diameter options.

 

so what would be the size for a 15 rim?
what would be your tire recomendation and what should be a good size of width of the rim? 6? or 5?

 

If your using the stock rim, you want 205/50-15 to shorten your gear ratios just a little compared to 205/55.
