Ok i have a 88 hatch that i put a b16a in. I have nothing done to the motor right now except i/h/e. Went to the track this weekend and the best time i could get was 10.15 (1/8 mile, that's all we have around here). Well i want to be in the 8's. I am looking into cams, but i have read so many different views about them. Skunk 2 stage 1, or CTR, and what about pulleys? What Brand FPR. I do drive my car alot not just to the track but i want to make it reliably faster. Also what about Nitrious. There are sooooooo Many things to choose from it is kind of overwhelming. If anybody has so time to spare please send me in the right direction. Keep in mind that i don't want to spend $4000.00 on crazy parts, just some good bolt on things that will improve my project that has dug into my wallet pretty deep already. I KNOW you have to pay to play but humor me.

humor you... sure. Should have gotten a B20 instead.!
But as for speed.. the only way to go is either boost or NOS. ( yes I call it NOS not nitrious because when I first got into it.. companies like Venom and Nex werent even around yet so it'll always be NOS to me)
I say this because N/A is really expensive and if you have a low budget,it'll be hard to be fast with a B16 N/A. Cams and valvetrain will be about $1,200 alone. Then you'd need ported TB and a larger manifold. Add pistons and ECU and it'll be major $$$$.
Go boost... or NOS. NOS is cheapest.. and you only use it when needed.
